Original Painting

This delightful Brushtail Possum is showcased high up in the branches of a gum tree (Eucalyptus Tree) with the light coming through the leaves behind it. The Brushtail Possum is a native Australian Marsupial and is the second larges of all possums. It is one of the most widespread marsupials of Australia, it is found in Eastern and Northern parts of Australia, as well as some Western regions, Tasmania and a number of offshore islands. It is the most commonly seen marsupial by city dwellers as its one of the few that thrive in  both cities and bushland.
